Jet Dental Clinic (Dr. Marjorie Ann “Jet” Bernardo, Unit 136, 1/L The Raintree Mall, General Maxilom St., Cebu City) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we handle, why, and your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Information we collect
- When you book through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger: your name, mobile number or account name, and the messages you send us, such as your preferred appointment time.
- When you visit the clinic: the details needed for your dental care, including your contact details, medical and dental history, examination notes, X-rays, treatment records and payment records. Health information is sensitive personal information and is handled with extra care.
- When you browse this website: the site has no forms and sets no cookies of its own. Our web host, Netlify, records basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to deliver the site, keep it secure and produce visitor and page-speed statistics. The map on this page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies and receive your IP address when it loads.

Please use WhatsApp or Messenger only to arrange appointments. We will discuss your health and treatment privately at the clinic.

We process your information based on your consent, to provide the care you request, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only when needed: with service providers that help us run the clinic and website (such as WhatsApp, Meta, Google and Netlify), with laboratories or other health professionals involved in your care, with your HMO or insurer if you ask us to, or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking messages only as long as needed to manage your appointment. Patient records are kept for as long as needed for your care and as required by law and professional regulations, then disposed of securely.
How we protect it
We limit access to patient records to authorised clinic staff and use reasonable physical, organisational and technical safeguards.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your personal information, to object, to have errors corrected, to have information erased or blocked where appropriate, to data portability, to claim damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
